Getting your purse out from your room you then ran downstairs.

Today you planned on exploring the town a little. After all, it was your last day of freedom before starting school again tomorrow. You figured you might as well do something productive. Also, you passed a comic book store when you were in the car on the way to the Orphanage when you arrived, and you were wondering if they sold manga, specifically (manga).

Heading to the front door, you took hold of the handle. But before you could turn it, a firm hand rested on your shoulder.

"Vhere are jou going?"

You turned around to see Ludwig, eyeing you with curiosity.

"I'm gonna go check out the town."

"Sorry, but jou can't really go out alone. You might get lost or hurt, und you should really tell Earzh."

You shrugged, your reckless side not really caring. But then you got an idea. Taking hold of Ludwig's hand, (ignoring his blushing) you opened the door, and dragged him outside with you in one quick motion. "In that case you'll just have to come with me!"

"Hey, Ludwig, where are you-a going?" Before you could even get down the street, Feliciano and Kiku appeared at the front door, looking confused.

"I'm not goi-" Ludwig started, trying to rip his arm from your grip, and granted, he was strong, but you clung on.

"We're going around town right?" You said sweetly, looking up at him with pleading eyes. You didn't want to force him into it, but you did want him to show you around.

"Fine, ja, ve're going to town," Ludwig gave in, and you smiled at him gratefully.

"You guys wanna come?" You asked Kiku and Feliciano, who did so.

The four of you enjoyed some light conversation while you walked into the town. Mainly, it consisted of Feli talking about his countries food, and Ludwig scolding him for skipping too far ahead of you, or Kiku commenting on how a lot of the things he said didn't add up. It was actually really entertaining to watch.

When you arrived at the town, Kiku turned to you, "So, ______-san, what did you want to see?"
"Oh, yeah! The comic store, I was hoping you'd know if they sell manga?"

Kiku's, until now, dull brown eyes lit up. "They do! I had no idea you rike manga!"

"I love it! Especially (fave manga)!" You exclaimed.

"Me too! Ret's go there first then!" Kiku smiled.

After that, you went to the manga store, where both you and Kiku bought a few items each.

Afterwards, as a thank you, you treated the three of them in a cafe. Feli ordered pasta (they just happened to serve that), Ludwig got wurst, (which they also happened to sell...) and Kiku got rice (Yes, they served that too...). You got (food choice, you can choose anything since this cafe apparently serves everything).

When the four of you returned home, Blue was livid. Mainly because you hadn't told her you were going out. Of course, you insisted it was all your fault, and that you should be the one to blame. Luckily, she let you off with a warning, saying in the future you have to tell her if you plan on going out.

"Hey bella, grazie for the-a food!" Feli smiled to your brightly.

"Ja, danke." Ludwig added.

"Hai, arigatou." Kiku said.

Laughing a little, you nodded, "Don't worry about it! Oh, and, uh, sorry for almost getting you guys in trouble..."

"It;s-a fne, bell-" Feli began.

"-Fratello!" Before he could finish his sentence, Lovino, to your annoyance, came marching over to the four of you, scowl glued to his face as usual.

"Ciao, fratello!" Feli cheerfully chirped to him.

"What have I-a told you about hanging around with the-a potato bastard?!" Lovino growled, then glared at you. "And-a don't even think about hanging out with the-a attention bastard."
Mad as you were, you decided not to retaliate.

"B-But fratello..." Feli sadly whined, as Lovino dragged him away by the arm. Once they were gone, you let out a loud huff.

"What is his problem? And why does he have any right to order Feli around like that?!" You angrily asked Ludwig and Kiku, who didn't seem all that phased by Lovino.

Ludwig sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Vell, Lovino is very protective of Feli, vhich isn't unusual since zhey're brozhers."

"Brothers?!"

"Hai." Kiku answered.

"But, they're nothing alike! ....Actually, now that I think about it they look extremely similar..." You mused, and then paused, putting a hand on your hip. "But why is Lovino so protective? I mean, that seemed down right controlling!"

Kiku looked momentarily sympathetic. "Werr, it is not his faurt, you see, the Vargas brothers have been through a rot together." He explained voice full of sorrow.

"Huh?"

Ludwig seemed uncertain about saying anymore. "It's really not our place to tell you, ja?" He stopped, seemingly reconsidering. "But zhen again, it's not really a secret... I von't go into detail, but zhe two vere abused by zheir parents for a long time, und zhey came here after zhe social services found out. According to Feli, Lovino blames himself for not protecting Feli, and has sworn to do so ever since."

You remained silent. Just like you, they'd been abused. And more than likely, they'd suffered a lot longer than you had. Three weeks felt like a year when you lived with your Aunt and Uncle, everyday was torture. Shivering slightly at the memory, you felt a strong wave of guilt wash over you. Maybe Lovino wasn't so bad, maybe he just had his guard up...It would be understandable...And maybe, just maybe, you had been out of line last night...

"Thats really...awful." You whispered.

"It was years ago, _______-san, they are in a much better prace now; it's just a memory for them now." Kiku did his best to comfort you with words, picking up on your mood.

"Y-yeah." You mumbled. "Well, I'm gonna go to my room to um...read my manga!" You said, excusing yourself, and went to your room, settling on the bed. Collecting your diary from beneath it, you turned a new page and started to write.

'Dear Diary,
I think I was wrong about Lovino...no, I know it.
He isn't a douche, he's just been through a lot, he has his guard up because he doesn't want to get hurt, I bet. Don't Get me wrong, he still had no right to lash out at me, but I really can't hold a grudge. I think he's probably really nice (maybe that's an exaggeration) when you get to know him. Who knows, maybe someday I'll get to be his frie-'

"Hey, frau, dinners on zhe table." Gilbert burst into your room, without knocking, his eyes immediately wandering to your diary. A smirk grew across his face. "Jou have a diary?!" He said, voice dripping with amusement as he held back his laughs.

"S-shut up, Gil! And please don't tell anyone!" You said, tone threatening, but also pleading.

"Oh don't vorry, I von't!" He grinned, though his eyes were glinting deviously as he slowly backed out of your room. Closing your diary and hiding it back beneath your bed, you followed him downstairs into the dining room.

Walking into the dining room where everyone was sat around the large table, you took the only free seat between Yao and Alfred, you stared at the meal before you: A large slice of pizza, the smell of cheese and tomato wafted into your nose.

"Who made this?" You asked, impressed.

"Feliciano and Lovino." Blue told you. Looking over at the Italians, astounded, you smiled warmly.
"It looks amazing, guys!" You said, aiming the compliment at both of them.

"Grazie, bella!" Feli said, already eating, and Lovino turned away, mumbling an annoyed 'whatever'.

"If you like this, you'll love it when it is my turn to cook, mon chere." Francis commented.

"Oh? Does everyone get a turn to cook?" You asked, taking a bite of your pizza.

"Not everyone..." Alfred glanced at Arthur cautiously. Silence met the table as everyone ate, until Gil decided to speak.

"______ keeps a diary."

"Not awesome!" You shouted at him, flushing red with embarrassment as what he said caused an uproar.

"You really keep a diary, chica?"

"Everyzhing I do is awesome, don't deny it!"

"Erm, Gilbert, you keep a diary too don't you, mon ami?"

"Ja, but mine is awesome, her's will be all girly and stuff, kesesese~!"

"Dudette I'm totally gonna read it!"

"Sorry about mein bruder...."

"All you twats give the lady her privacy!"

"Thanks, Artie! And Ludwig, what do you mean brother?!"

"Gilbert is mein bruder."

"Aiya! Everyone stop being immature!"

"Please be q-quiet, eh?"

"Should I shut them up, da?"

"ALL OF YOU-A BASTARDS SHUT THE HELL UP!"

"Fratello, indoor voices, veh?"

"Ehem."

"This is Gil's fault! If he hadn't of said anything about my diary-"

"So you do have a diary, ____-san?"

"The frau does! She vas writing in it, kesesese~!"

"Fusososos!"

"Ohonhonhon!"

"The hero will stop them from reading it!"

"Shut it, fatass!"

"CHILDREN!" Blue shouted at the top of her lungs. Finally everyone silenced. Her eyes became deadly serious pools of green, looking quite...sadistic. "Nobody is going to read ______'s diary, am I clear?"

"Yes, ma'am." The boys chorused, looking scared. Blue appeared to be demented with that smirk on her face...

"Good. Now, if I find out any of you do, well..."

Dear Diary,
Note to self: NEVER get on Blue's bad side.
